The North American Man/Boy Love Association was founded in 1978, claiming to have been inspired by "the success of a campaign based in Boston's gay community to defend against a local witchhunt".[1] Unlike most other websites containing descriptions or depictions of an explicit sexual nature, the NAMBLA website provides no such warning, containing photos and pictures of boys and men in sexualized or nude positions as well as lengthy stories and fantasies of man/boy love situations.
Mission

- Building understanding and support for such relationships.

- Cooperating with lesbian, gay, feminist, and other liberation movements.
- Supporting the liberation of persons of all ages from sexual prejudice and oppression.[1]
