In 1999, Anamaria Loya director of La Raza Centro Legal; David Muhammad of Pacific News Service; Kathy Lipscomb, a Labor Activist; Carl Bloice, a left/Labor journalist gave talks entitled"Nader, Gore and Bush: What are the Stakes for People of Color and the Working Class?" These talks were facilitated by Emily Katz-Kishawi of the Women’s Funding Network. The talk was sponsored by the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism linked organization, the Center for Political Education.[1]
