ActBlue is a progressive Political Action Committee that collects funds intended for Democratic Party candidates. It claims to be the nation's largest source of funds for Democrats.

The foundation was launched in 2004 to be a catalyst for new online fundraising tools. Individuals and groups can raise money for Democratic candidates and committees of their choice through ActBlue.

It has directed more than $106 million to about 3200 candidates and committees from more than 420,000 donors. According to its website, donations are a median fifty dollars.[1]


Individual donors gave 451 donations of at least $200 ActBlue in 2007-2008.[2]

As of November 18, 2009, the PAC has contributed more than $17 million to candidates for the 2010 election cycle.[3]
