Vanessa Ramos is President American Association of Jurists, member of National Lawyers Guild, Board member of Peace Development Fund. She was born in Puerto Rico and support the right to "self determination and independence of Puerto Rico"[1].

Vanessa Ramos is an attorney who has worked in the general practice of U.S. and international law. In her current position as the Deputy Director for Policy at The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, Vanessa Ramosis involved in providing services to recent Latino immigrants. In 2002, she received a Humanitarian Award from the American Association of Jurists, Puerto Rico Chapter and, in 2000, a Special Presidential Award from the Bar Association of Puerto Rico. Vanessa Ramos is currently the President of the American Association of Jurists, an NGO in consultative status with the ECOSOC (UN Economic and Social Council)[2].

International Association of Democratic Lawyers

Vanessa Ramos (Puerto Rico) serves on the board of the old Soviet front organization, the International Association of Democratic Lawyers.[3].
