Standing for AD 46

In 2019 Stacy Tapia stood from AD 46 for the California Democratic Party Central Committee.

To begin, I’m 26 years old, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, specifically, Panorama City. As a daughter of mexican immigrants, I’ve known from an early age, the value of hard work, and the value of education. Throughout high school, I was able to focus on all my studies and was granted acceptance into the University of California, Berkeley as a first generation college student. It’s incredibly humbling to know that my parents’ efforts and sacrifice in coming to a new country as young adults were somehow realized. I currently pay that respect forward as an LA Unified Substitute Teacher and as a Public High School Tutor. My ultimate goal is to be a high school math teacher to help young scholars reach their own dreams.[1]
