Olivia Burlingame Goumbri

Olivia Burlingame Goumbri is the Senior Communications Advisor for the Climate Justice Alliance. She became involved with the global climate justice movement while assisting in the organization of the World People's Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth in Bolivia in 2010. For the past two decades, she has worked in advocacy and communications to support progressive social movements and causes within the United States and abroad. Before joining CJA in 2018, she served as Director of Advocacy for the National Head Start Association. Prior to that, she led the Venezuela Information Office in Washington, D.C. and later served as an advisor to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for almost a decade.[1]
