Mariano Corcilli

Mariano Corcilli​is currently a trial attorney and head of The Corcilli Law Firm, where he represents clients in a wide variety of litigation matters. He is the founder and President of the Veterans Bar Association and a National Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project in Washington, D.C.


Mr. Corcilli began his legal career as a prosecutor. He has also been a veterans advocate for over a decade: he was the founder and first President of the Collegiate Students Society at the University of Florida, has researched and counseled United States Congressmen on veterans educational benefits and has served as Counsel for the Florida Department of the American Legion.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Corcelli grew up in Miami Beach, Florida and received his undergraduate degree in Criminology, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor degree from American ​University, where he was a senior staffer of the Administrative Law Review.

Prior to becoming at attorney, Corcilli was an active duty Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he served for eight years with multiple overseas deployments.

Mr. Corcilli is a member of the Miami Beach Bar Association, the Veterans Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Miami-Dade Justice Association and the Cuban American Bar Association. He is also a Life Member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans.[1]

On October 23, 2014 Juan Cuba Jose Javier Rodriguez and Mariano Corcilli, all Latino candidates for office, took part in a New Florida Majority sponsored forum "The New Latinos."
