Margaret Melkonian


Margaret Melkonian is a co-director for the Long Island Alliance for Peaceful Alternatives.[1] She used to be the Vice President of the Hauge Appeal for Peace.[2]

She is the wife of Martin Melkonian.

New Party builder

New Party News Fall 1994 listed over 100 New Party activists-"some of the community leaders, organizers, retirees,, scholars, artists, parents, students, doctors, writers and other activists who are building the NP." The list included Margaret Melkonian, Long Island Alliance.

Feminists for Peace and Barack Obama

In early 2008 Margaret Melkonian, of Hague Appeal for Peace signed a petition circulated by Feminists for Peace and Barack Obama[3].
