Activism/career

As a recent graduate of U.C. Berkeley, Madelein joins the Ella Baker Center as the assistant for the Executive Director and the Development Team. Working behind the scenes of the Ella Baker Center, she provides invaluable support to the executive staff ensuring that their job is as easy as possible. Prior to joining the Ella Baker Center, Madelein has worked with various private law firms and has interned with the ACLU of Northern California and the Legal Aid Society of NYC[1].
