Liaison Committee for a New Communist Party
Liaison Committee for a New Communist Party was formed after a split with the Organizing Committee, due to fundamental differences over the question of party building. Our main difference was that whereas the OC chose to pursue a path of clandestinity with an insular focus, we argued for a need to be open to the masses and to have an outward focus to uniting the advanced.
The task of the Liaison Committee is thus to unite Maoist forces in the US to begin building the Communist Party which will lead the masses in the socialist revolution.
