Help DSA Elect More Socialists to LA’s 99 Neighborhood Councils! - Los Angeles has a system of 99 neighborhood councils comprised of unpaid volunteer elected officials who represent their neighborhoods to the city council.

CrossRoads

In the mid 1990s Leslie Simon was[1]in development Director for Oakland based Institute for Social and Economic Studies- sponsor of CrossRoads magazine, which sought to promote dialogue and building new alliances among progressives and leftists... and to bring diverse Marxist and socialist traditions to bear while exploring new strategies and directions for the progressive political movements.

Ella Baker Center supporter

In 2009 Leslie Simon was a financial supporter of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights in Oakland, California.[2]

DSA Facebook group

Members of the California Democratic Socialists of America, statewide Facebook group, as of March 16, 2017 included Leslie Simon.[3]
