Lee Fisher signed an open letter Law Deans Joint Statement on the 2020 Election and Events at the Capitol dated January 12, 2021 condemning attorneys who "challenged the outcome of the  election with claims that they did not support with facts or evidence."

The Council for a Livable World, founded in 1962 by long-time socialist activist and alleged Soviet agent, Leo Szilard, is a non-profit advocacy organization that seeks to "reduce the danger of nuclear weapons and increase national security", primarily through supporting progressive, congressional candidates who support their policies. The Council is supporting Lee Fisher in his 2010 election campaign.
