The June 12 Disarmament Coalition was created in October 1981 as the Campaign for the Special Session on Disarmament and operated from the New York offices of the Mobilization for Survival.[1]
About
The purpose of the group is to organize a mass disarmament rally in New York to apply pressure on the U.S. government, particularly with President Reagan slated to personally attend the meeting, for disarmament concessions.[1]
