Jesse Hagopian
Jesse Hagopian is a Washington State Education activist. He teaches high school history in the Seattle Public Schools, serving as an advisor for the Black Student Union, and is a founding member the Social Equality Educators (SEE) rank-and-file union organization. Hagopian coauthored the chapter, “Teachers Unions and Social Justice” in Education and Capitalism: Struggles for Learning and Liberation (Haymarket Books, 2012) and is a contributing author to 101 Changemakers (Haymarket Books, 2012).
He is a member of the International Socialist Organization.
