Jason McBriarty


Jason McBriarty is Director, Worldwide Community Affairs, Levi Strauss & Co. and Levi Strauss Foundation San Francisco Bay Area.

Jason McBriarty currently holds dual positions at Levi Strauss & Co. leading the company’s global community engagement program and overseeing the Levi Strauss Foundation’s $65 million investment portfolio. In both of these roles Jason leads cross-functional initiatives that help drive the company’s CSR agenda and reputation.

Prior to joining Levi Strauss & Co., Jason was the Director of Training and Consulting at the Northern California Community Loan Fund, a $18 million community-based lending institution. In addition, Jason has held senior positions at nonprofit organizations – including Habitat for Humanity.

Jason holds a MBA degree in finance from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management and a professional certificate in nonprofit management from the same institution. Jason serves on several boards – including the Net Impact Corporate Advisory Council – and is a frequent speaker on the topics of corporate philanthropy and CSR.[1]

Youth Empowerment Center leaders

In the early 2000s Lateefah Simon served on the Board of Directors[2]of the Oakland based Youth Empowerment Center.
