Hard Times Conference

In 1976 James Haughton for Fightback New York and Mass Party Organizing Committee attended the Weather Underground and Prairie Fire Organizing Committee organized Hard Times Conference Jan 30 - Feb 1 at the University of Chicago.[2]


In March 1979, the New York radical magazine the Guardian issued an emergency appeal to funds in an effort to save the publication.

Over fifty supporters endorsed the appeal including James Haughton[3]

National Jobs For All Coalition

In 2010, James Haughton. Harlem Fightback was listed as serving on the advisory board of the Democratic Socialists of America dominated National Jobs For All Coalition.[4]
