Iris Morales...

Young Lords

Iris Morales first met Richie Perez in the Young Lords in 1969. They served together on the Young Lords National Staff and, for a time, shared a three-room apartment on Tinton Avenue in the Bronx with their respective significant others. He remained with the organization until 1976; Iris Morales resigned a year earlier.

Richie Perez moved from the Young Lords Organization to the Young Lords Party and finally to the Puerto Rican Revolutionary Workers Organization. [1]

War Times

In January 2002, a group of San Francisco leftists, mainly involved with STORM or Committees of Correspondence, founded a national anti-Iraq War newspaper[2] War Times.

Endorsers of the project included Iris Morales.
