Henry Florsheim is a first generation NYC native, having grown up in Washington Heights, the son of German Jewish immigrants. He raised his son in Queens, where he coached Little League baseball for many years. He moved to Brooklyn in 1999, where he married Jacquelyn Florsheim and coached high school track and middle school baseball after retiring as an accountant. He served as the treasurer of the newly formed Peace Action New York State and joined the Board of Brooklyn For Peace because it is a successful peace and justice organization.[1]

Open Letter to Obama on Iran

In 2008 Henry Florsheim and Jacquelyn Florsheim of Brooklyn for Peace, Brooklyn, NY signed an online petition “A Open Letter to Barack Obama on Iran”.[2]
