Template:TOCnestleft Frida Berrigan is the Senior Program Associate of the Arms and Security Initiative at the New America Foundation.[1] Founded in 1999 by Ted Halstead, the Foundation is a leftist public policy institute which claims to be nonpartisan, and seeks pragmatic solutions to "the next generation of challenges facing the United States".[2][3]

She is the daughter of Elizabeth McAlister and Philip Berrigan. Her uncle is Daniel Berrigan. She lives in New London Connecticut.

United for Peace and Justice affiliation

In July 2007 Frida Berrigan representing War Resisters League was affiliated to United for Peace and Justice.[4]

In Dec 2008 Frida Berrigan, War Resisters League was voted onto the Steering Committee for United for Peace and Justice[5]

In These Times

As of 2009 Frida Berrigan was a Contributing Editor and a member of the Editorial Board of Chicago based socialist journal In These Times.[6]

Witness Against Torture

Berrigan was listed as affiliated with Witness Against Torture and fasting to protest torture, as of March 25, 2010.[7]
