Duane Poncy

Duane Poncy lives and works in Port­land, Ore­gon, where he is Arts Direc­tor for the Mile­post 5 arts com­mu­nity. He is also a founder and Gen­eral Edi­tor of Elohi Gadugi Jour­nal: Nar­ra­tives for a New World, a jour­nal of lit­er­a­ture and art, and is cur­rently work­ing on a num­ber of writ­ing projects, includ­ing the Sweet­land nov­els, a series of spec­u­la­tive fic­tion works set in the near future.

He is the co-author, with his wife, Patri­cia J. McLean, of Bartlett House, A Will Adel­hardt / Lucy Hidalgo Mys­tery.

Duane Poncy is an enrolled cit­i­zen of the Chero­kee Nation (OK).[1]


Duane Poncy, was in 2002, a member of Oregon Democratic Socialists of America.[2]
