Carolyn Rummel is the wife of John Rummel.

People's Daily World

In 1986 Carolyn Rummel was Circulation manager of the Communist Party USA newspaper People's Daily World[1]

In 1992 was involved in the production of People's Weekly World, the New York based newspaper of the Communist Party USA[2].

Communist Party honor

On November 4, 1999 New York State Assemblyman Richard Gottfried presented State Assembly citations to four honorees, Iris Baez, founder and president of Community and Parents Against Police Violence, Ron Daniels, Executive Director of the Center for Constitutional Rights, Elizabeth Hall, a member of the National Committee of the Communist Party USA and Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees, and Bobbie Rabinowitz, a founder of the New York City Labor Chorus at the Peoples Weekly World 75th anniversary celebrations at the Henry Winston Unity Auditorium in New York. Event co-chairs were Maria Ramos of the United Federation of Teachers and Carolyn Rummel, managing editor of the Peoples Weekly World. [3]

Endorsed Communist Party Call

On March 30 2002 the Communist Party USA paper People’s Weekly World called for a national holiday in honor of late Farm Workers Union leader Cesar Chavez. The article was followed by a long list of endorsers[4]including Carolyn Rummel, Almost all endorsers were confirmed members of the Communist Party USA.
