Carol Stavris

Carol Stavris is a leading member of the Communist Party of Britain. She is married to Dave Stavris.

She a member of a delegation of left wing parties from Northern Europe and North America to the International Department of The Communist Party of China. She is a former long time resident of Upton and stalwart of Poole CND. Recently she has worked in the Cuba Solidarity Campaign and has visited Cuba several times. Carol is currently Womens Organiser for the CPB.[1]

At the January 2022 Communist Party of Britain executive committee meeting Carol Stavris was elected CPB Women's Organiser.[2]

At the January 2022 Communist Party of Britain executive committee meeting Andy Bain, Mollie Brown, Ben Chacko (Alternate member), Tony Conway, Lorraine Douglas, Alex Gordon, Robert Griffiths, Johnnie Hunter, Kevan Nelson (Alternate member), Carol Stavris, Ruth Styles were appointed to the CPB Political Committee.[3]

November 2021 Bill Greenshields, Moz Greenshields, Andy Till, David Grove, Bill Myers, Joe Clark, Marios Doucas, Sonya Robotham, Carol Stavris, Pablo, Stephen Hatcher, Dick Banker, Carrie Hedderwick took part in a Communist Party of Britain: Midlands Communists William Paul Society webinar "Imperialism v working class" with Joginder Bains and Roger McKenzie, Oliver Dodd, Pierre Marshall and Assadullah Keshtmand from Afghanistan .[4]
