Amira Al-Dasouqui

Amira Al-Dasouqui holds a Master’s degree in Community Development & Planning from Clark University where she centered her scholarship on issues of accessibility as it relates to legal advocacy for urban migrant populations. Amira has worked with refugees, asylum seekers and other migrant populations throughout Massachusetts and Jordan in various capacities as a legal assistant, Arabic translator, and advocate. She has given talks on her research at various universities and conferences.

Amira joined Siskind Susser in September 2016 as a bilingual paralegal. She focuses on employment-based immigrant visas including EB-1s, EB-2s, EB-3s, work card and travel document renewals, and works primarily with Managing Partner Lynn Susser.

In her free time, Amira enjoys travelling, art, and working with social justice organizations in the Memphis area.[1]
