Albert Jason (Mickey) Lima (died 1989, age 82)) was a Northern California Communist Party USA leader and the husband of Helen Lima.
Communist Party activism
Lima was Communist Party candidate[1]for U.S. Representative from California 1st District, 1940, 1942. Candidate for Presidential Elector for California, 1972. Convicted in 1952 of conspiracy to overthrow the United States government; the verdict was overturned on appeal.
Communist delegation at funeral
Communist Party USA National Chairman Henry Winston, lead a Party delegation to Martin Luther King, Jr.'s funeral. It included Claude Lightfoot, Mickey Lima, Arnold Johnson, Charlene Mitchell, Gil Green.
