Marian Gordon is a National Executive Committee member of[1] Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. She is the sister of the the late Sandy Patrinos.

Communist Party reformer

In 1991, Marian G, Southern California, was one of several hundred Communist Party USA members to sign the a paper "An initiative to Unite and Renew the Party" - most signatories left the Party after the December 1991 conference to found Committees of Correspondence.[3]

At the Committees of Correspondence conference, Berkeley California, July 17-19, 1992. Marian Gordon was a candidate[4]for the CoC National Coordinating Committee-from Los Angeles.

In 1997 Marian Gordon served on the National Co-Ordinating Committee of the Committees of Correspondence.[5]

In 1997 Marian Gordon and Edith Pollach were the Greater Los Angeles contacts for the Committees of Correspondence.[6]

July 25 2009 Marion Gordon, Southern California, was a candidate for the Committees of Correspondence National Co-ordinating Committee at CCDS national conference in San Francisco-elected.[8]

DataCenter Donor

In 2007 Marian Gordon and Larry Abbott were listed on the DataCenter's annual report as donors to the organization. The Oakland, California based DataCenter is widely regarded as the intellegence wing of the United States Left and has close ties to Cuba.[10]

CCDS Vietnam tour

The Vietnam Women’s Union welcomed and arranged a study tour in Vietnam for the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism from December 31st 2008 to January 13th 2009.

A CCDS group member, Mr. Clay Claiborne - a film maker, who has just completed a documentary film of US war in Vietnam named “Vietnam Holocaust” also informed that he will make another report of Vietnam after the war with the cause of developing socialism. Another CCDS group member, Mr. Fred Nguyen, a reporter at Pacifica WBAI New York Radio, also completed csme interviews and sent them to the US for broadcasting during the CCDS group’s visit to Vietnam.[11]

Also on the 16 member tour were Larry Abbott and Marian Gordon.[12]
