Hart Research Associates
From KeyWiki
Hart Research Associates is "strategic research, not just polling or market research. Our clients turn to us - and return to us - because our work is both highly creative and designed to uncover the information that leads to sound decision-making, whether it's a campaign, a communications plan, or a corporate logo."[1]

Purpose
Founded in 1971, Hart Research Associates is one of the leading survey research firms in the United States and has been at the cutting edge of change in the field of public opinion for more than three decades.
In that time, we have conducted well over 5,000 public opinion surveys and have administered and analyzed interviews among more than three million individuals. We have also undertaken more than 5,000 focus group sessions. More about our standards of quality...
- On the commercial side, Peter Hart Research has "demonstrated genuine creativity in designing research that provides meaningful and actionable insights, as well as the ability to effectively translate research into clear strategic goals."
- Our political division (Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group) has worked with more than 40 United States senators and 30 governors and on more than 400 political campaigns, giving the firm a "large measure of sophistication and sensitivity to public reaction on policy issues."
- Peter D. Hart Research has also become well known for helping diverse public interest groups – nonprofits, social cause organizations, political organizations, and labor unions – refine their approach to membership cultivation, image development, strategic planning, and communications. As with all our projects, "we bring a great deal of creative thinking to these endeavors, designing the research strategically and framing the results in ways that clients can use to solidify and expand their membership support."
- Since 1989, a highlight of Hart Research’s work has been our regular public opinion polling, in conjunction with Republican pollster Robert Teeter, for NBC News and The Wall Street Journal. Mr. Teeter passed away in 2004, and we are pleased that Bill McInturff of Public Opinion Strategies is now our partner for this flagship survey that is widely regarded as a barometer of American opinion.[2]
