Treason? Communist Party USA Prepares to Defend China Against US in Event of “Confrontation”

Wednesday, November 24th, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

The Communist Party USA is preparing to defend China against the US, in what it sees as a looming Washington/Beijing “confrontation”.

While long a loyal ally of the Soviet Union and later the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Communist Party USA has also become markedly pro-China in recent years.

As Moscow and Beijing have openly moved into a military and economic alliance through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the American Communist Party has also staked out a pro-China position.

Now Communist Party USA members are discussing how to help China, in the event of Washington/Beijing hostilities.

Political Affairs, the theoretical journal of the Communist Party USA is currently advertizing a December 4 meeting at Berkeley’s Niebyl-Proctor Marxist Library – “China and the US: The emerging confrontation”.

This is the key paragraph.

The United States government has been committing direct acts of provocation against China’s economy and other aspects of its society, including its military. In addition to disturbances in Tibet and uprisings of Uigurs in China’s northwest province, there are developing showdowns with Japan and South Korea. All have the fingerprints of the United States. If these confrontations are allowed to become full-blown, it will put the current US military ventures in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere in the shade, and will demand from all of us new energies to struggle on yet another – perhaps the biggest – domestic front against US imperialism.

Note the phraseology – “The United States government has been committing direct acts of provocation against China’s economy and other aspects of its society“. This is reminiscent of the Communist line of decades past which accused the US of waging “wars of aggression” in Korea and Vietnam, even though both wars were sparked by communist invasions.

This language is designed to condition US communists into loyalty to Beijing, by painting the US as an aggressor in any future hostilities – even if China strikes first.

The message will be: “China only attacked in self defense. The US shouldn’t have pushed China. China only wants peace. Workers must defend China against US aggression.”

This is the most significant sentence;

If these confrontations are allowed to become full-blown, it will put the current US military ventures in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere in the shade, and will demand from all of us new energies to struggle on yet another – perhaps the biggest – domestic front against US imperialism.

What does this mean? It is a clear signal that US “comrades” must prepare to act as at least a propaganda and activist “Fifth Column” for China, if and when conflict breaks out between Washington and Beijing.

Will this escalate to full blown treason, should a shooting war start?

The Communist Party USA’s own disloyal history suggests it would.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization? What is it? Why Does it Matter?

Wednesday, November 24th, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

While the West talks nuclear disarmament, a major new power bloc builds in the East.

While most Westerners have never heard of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, this economic/military alliance, is set to become one the most powerful forces on the planet.

What is the SCO? According to the organization’s own website:

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a permanent intergovernmental international organisation creation of which was proclaimed on 15 June 2001 in Shanghai (China) by the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People’s Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Its prototype is the Shanghai Five mechanism.

The main goals of the SCO are strengthening mutual confidence and good-neighbourly relations among the member countries; promoting effective cooperation in politics, trade and economy, science and technology, culture as well as education, energy, transportation, tourism, environmental protection and other fields; making joint efforts to maintain and ensure peace, security and stability in the region, moving towards the establishment of a new, democratic, just and rational political and economic international order...

The Organisation has two permanent bodies – the Secretariat in Beijing and the Regional Counter-Terrorism Structure in Tashkent. SCO Secretary-General and RCTS Executive Committee Director are appointed by the HSC for a period of three years. From 01 January 2007 these posts are held by Bolat K.Nurgaliev (Kazakhstan) and Myrzakan U.Subanov (Kyrgyzstan) respectively.

The SCO member states occupy a territory of around 30 million 189 thousand square kilometers, which makes up three fifths of the Eurasian continent, and have a population of 1.5 billion, which makes up a quarter of the planet’s population.

India, Pakistan and Iran are hold “observer” status with the SCO.

While virtually ignored by the MSM, the Communist press regards the SCO as a hugely important organization. It is seen as a means of re-aligning power away from the USA and the West in favor of the East and the Communist/Muslim world.

Here is an article on the SCO from the October 25, 2006 edition of the Communist Party of Australia’s Guardian, with some commentary from New Zeal.

Significance of India, Russia, China cooperation

“The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) countries are going to be the new powerhouse of the world. It is in India’s enlightened interest that we understand its importance as we are a country which desperately needs energy”, CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karat says in a statement this month. “Trilateral co-operation between India, China and Russia has symbolic significance as it can dispel the notion that the 21st century is an American century.

New Zeal As the head of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Prakash Karat is a hugely influential figure. The CPI(M) controls several state governments and has a strong bloc in the Indian Parliament as does the “rival” Communist Party of India.

The recent meeting between India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Chinese Premier Hu Jintao and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the G-8 summit held tremendous potential in the changing world situation. Karat was delivering a talk on the “Role of friendship societies in Indo-Russian relations”.

Karat said the 21st century was not going to be an American century. “This will be an Asian century. Two countries, India and China, are to power Asia through their economic growth and political clout. Though a unipolar world appeared to emerge after the fall of the Soviet Union, current trends hint at a transition towards a multi-polar world which would be more balanced and equitable and with less scope for hegemony”, Karat said.

Besides Asia, new power centres were developing in Europe, Latin America and Africa much to the “dismay” of United States.

Emerging co-operation among India, Brazil and South Africa, which are important countries in the developing world, would [also] promote multi-polarity in the world.

New Zeal South Africa’s Communist Party dominated government has been very active in promoting ties with Marxist led Brazil and heavily Marxist influenced India. South African deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Azziz Pahad, brother of leading SACP member and adviser to then President Thabo Mbeki, Essop Pahad has been particularly active in promoting ties to India.

Stating that energy was going to be a major issue in the 21st century, he said Russia’s energy diplomacy had signaled that it would be assertive in the new situation.

The six-member SCO comprising Russia, China and central Asian republics, would have an increasing role in world affairs.

Karat urged the Indian Government to understand the importance of the SCO in which India, along with Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan, were observers.

“If the Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline became a reality, the country would get gas at one-quarter of its price in the international market. Russia was now co-operating with Iran, and India should use its ties with Russia to play an increasing role in central Asia”, Karat said.

He said the present world situation underlined the need to maintain, nurture and strengthen India’s ties with Russia. In the earlier period of the Soviet Union, India had been greatly influenced by the first socialist experiment.

“Promotion of people-to-people relations was also important while developing strategic relations with countries like China and Russia and developing nations”, Karat said.

New Zeal How will a nuclear disarmed West deal with a power bloc spanning Asia from Vladivostok to Kiev and from the Arctic circle to Southern India? Combine that with an alliance between nuclear capable, or near capable India, South Africa and Brazil, allied in turn to oil rich Venezuela and Iran and you start to see a potential problem.

Yep, definitely a great time for Communist Party “friend” Barack Obama to lead America down the “no nukes” road.

Communists, Democrats and RINOs Urge US Disarmament

Wednesday, November 24th, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

Moscow’s best friends in America, the Communist Party USA have issued a call for the ratification of the controversial New START treaty with Russia in the “lame duck” session before Christmas.

Democrats are seeking to ratify the Treaty, with RINO Republicans, while the still have a solid majority in the Senate.

The Communist know that the Treaty would probably die in the next Senate and the “window of opportunity” to help their Russian friends will be lost.

The usual suspects, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Joe Biden are all working on the same side as the Communist Party.

Writing in the Peoples World, the PW Editorial Board

Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl’s abrupt announcement Nov. 16 that he opposes consideration of the New START treaty to cut U.S. and Russian nuclear missiles during the current congressional session imperils a vital step toward finally eliminating the world’s only true weapon of mass destruction.

Other leading Republican senators have also expressed opposition to the agreement.

The treaty, signed last spring by President Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, would cut the two countries’ long-range offensive nukes to 1,550 each, or about 30 percent. The U.S. and Russia have about 95 percent of such weapons in the world.

The pact has now had some 18 hearings by Senate committees.

Earlier this fall the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved New START, by a vote of 14-4. Three Republicans voted with the majority, including the committee’s ranking Republican, Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar.

Ratification requires 67 votes in the full Senate. Supporters of the pact are pressing for ratification by the end of the year, before the Democratic majority shrinks in the new Congress.

Saying failure to ratify the treaty this year “would endanger our national security,” Vice President Biden pledged the administration would continue to fight for its consideration before the Senate adjourns this year.

At a Nov. 17 news conference, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Foreign Relations Committee chair Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Sen. Lugar all called for approval in the current session…

The Communists finish the statement with a call for political pressure on Senators to get the deal signed and sealed.

“We say the world’s security is endangered if this vital first step on the road to a world without nukes stalls out in the Senate. Contact your senators today and urge New START’s ratification in 2010.”

While leftist Democrats, RINO Republican sellouts and their communist cheerleaders are urging America to disarm, the Russians and their Chinese allies are working through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to build an economic and military alliance to far surpass the old Warsaw Pact.

In an increasingly unstable world the US should be re-arming hell for leather, not bending over forwards for its sworn enemies.

Must Watch:Is Communism Winning?

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

Modern anti-communists fall into two main camps.

The majority believe that communism was soundly defeated in the 1980s and 1990s, but is now making a comeback in some areas – such as inside the US government.

The minority, of which I am one, believe that the “fall of communism” was part of a long term disinformation strategy, which is now entering its final phase.

Please watch the 1995 interview below with Christopher Story, a champion of the minority view.

Look at the world today and see if you can see some truth in Mr Story’s thesis.

What do you think?

Mark Ritchie File 3 Who Funds Minnesota’s Radical Secretary of State? Socialists, Communists and George Soros

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

Mark Ritchie File 2 here

You can tell a lot about a politician’s true allegiances by identifying who funds him.

Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie poses as a moderate, but is in fact an hard core leftist, with ties to several socialist organizations.

This becomes important, because part of Ritchie’s job is to oversee electoral recounts. In 2009 Ritchie gave a crucial Senate seat to leftist and former comedian Al Franken, though his Republican opponent was ahead on election night.

Soon Ritchie will oversee a recount that could put his long time colleague and fellow leftist Mark Dayton into the Minnesota Governor’s mansion.

In the knife edge world of U.S. politics, every seat counts.

That is why the left, feeling cheated after George Bush won the 2004 presidential election (after controversial recounts in Florida) established the Secretary of State Project, to fund and elect leftist Secretaries of State. Mark Ritchie was one of the first to benefit from this initiative.

A look at Ritchie’s funders lists for his 2006 and 2010 Secretary of State campaigns reveal a whole host of interesting names.

There are members of America’s largest Marxist organization Democratic Socialists of America, founders of Ritchie’s old socialist New Party and leading members of the Communist Party USA (not surprising given Ritchie’s high level contacts with that group).

Others are affiliated to high level leftist think tanks and “non profits” such as the Center for American Progress, Institute for Policy Studies, Democracy Alliance and the Tides Center.

There are also several leaders of the anti Israel, socialist infiltrated organization, JStreet.

A couple of pro-Cuban activists appear on the list as does a former associate of the infamous Weathermen.

Others who wrote out checks to Mark Ritchie’s campaign includes a former Vice President of the United States and the man who “broke the bank of England”.

Several keen Barack Obama supporters also pop up,

Ritchie’s 2006 funders list includes:

2010 added more interesting names to the list:

Why would some of America’s leading radicals write checks to support an obscure Secretary of State race in Minnesota?

Would they have supported someone who didn’t think like them? Someone who wouldn’t see politics the same way they do?

Many of the radicals who backed Mark Ritchie – the Communist Party USA , Democratic Socialists of America and George Soros, are using the Democratic Party as a front to take power in America.

These people want Democrats, preferably “progressive” Democrats to to win every possible race, at every level. A sympathetic Secretary of State can be very helpful to this agenda.

Would these radicals have financed Mark Ritchie if they couldn’t trust him to give them what they want?

Communists Exploit Unemployed for Socialist Agenda

Friday, November 19th, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

The newly formed Chicago Unemployed Workers Council mentioned in the last post, is a tool of the Communist Party USA.

The Party plans to set up similar organizations all over the U.S. in order to create its own army of unemployed militants.

Susan Hurley is effectively the leader of the U.W.C. She is also Executive Director/Lead Organizer of Chicago Jobs with Justice which has long been dominated by the communists and their marxist allies from Democratic Socialists of America. Hurley is a veteran of SEIU, George Soros‘ now defunct America Coming Together and more recently, MoveOn.org

On December 5 this year, Susan Hurley will be the keynote speaker at the Chicago Communist Party’s 23rd Annual People’s World / Mundo Popular banquet at Lee Wing Wah restaurant in Chinatown Square.

Here’s a promotional video for the U.W.C. featuring Hurley, a cameo of Communist Party labor secretary Scott Marshall at 27 seconds and a speech from 91 year old Communist Party veteran Beatrice Lumpkin at 3:34.

Bea Lumpkin (the mother of Google Health Advisory Council member Dr. John R. Lumpkin) recalls how the communists used the unemployed to pressure Roosevelt to set up a huge public jobs schemes in the 1930s, the Works Progress Administration and the Civilian Conservation Corps – which were then promptly taken over by the communists.

The modern communist scam is “green jobs” – so the marxists can work for the revolution on your taxes.

Communist Party “friend” Barack Obama creates unemployment with socialist economic policies.

The communists then organize those unemployed to pressure the Administration for “Green Jobs” and huge public works programs.

The communist then colonize those organizations and programs and use them to pressure Obama for still more socialism.

Meanwhile, you and your family pay, in gold and grief, the entire cost of your “liberation”.

Clever eh?

Far Left Progressive Caucus Represents “the Heart and Soul of the Democratic Party”

Friday, November 19th, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

The far left Congressional Progressive Caucus is an ally of Democratic Socialists of America, Communist Party USA and the Institute for Policy Studies.

Created in 1991 by then openly socialist Congressman Bernie Sanders, D.S.A. and I.P.S., the Progressive Caucus now has more than 80 members and is now the dominant force in the Democratic Party.

With the more moderate Blue Dog Caucus decimated in the mid term elections, the Progressives have no significant opposition in the Democratic Party and are hell bent on pushing their far left agenda.

They are in no mood to compromise with the Republicans. Far from being chastened by the recent election results, they are emboldened. It is full steam portside as far as the Progressives are concerned.

In an exclusive interview, Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-CA), co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, recently spoke with New American Media Political Analyst and Huffington Post Contributor Earl Ofari Hutchinson about the group’s strategy in the new, Republican-controlled House.

The interview was published at America Rising (formerly known as Progressives for Obama).

Emphasis added.

EOH: Many are not familiar with the Progressive House Caucus. How big is it?

LW: We had 83 members before the election. It is bicameral, with House and Senate members. It’s by far the largest caucus in Congress. We lost four members this election. But we also gained a couple of new members. We will not have less than 80 members in the next Congress. The Blue Dog Democrats lost almost two-thirds of their members.

EOH: What are the major issues that the Caucus will press Congress and the Obama Administration on?

LW: It is clear that we represent the heart and soul of the Democratic Party. So, the first item is jobs. We have to have a robust jobs bill. One that we should have had when President Obama first took office and his popularity was at its height. He had a big majority in the House and Senate. We would have doubled the amount of money allocated for the jobs bill that came out of the House, which the Senate cut to shreds. The other priority is combating the notion that the timetable for ending the Afghanistan War is 2014. The war is killing our budget, killing our people, and killing our relations with our allies.

EOH: What does it take to make that happen?

LW: None of this is going to happen until we get money out of politics, get a bigger control of the media, and that means diversifying ownership beyond the three corporations.

EOH: The headline article in the Washington Post, Nov. 11, was “Liberals plan to push Obama not to compromise with GOP.” Will the Progressive Caucus take the lead in pushing the president not to “compromise” with the GOP?

LW: We were the most productive House in recent legislative history in getting key pieces of legislation passed. Unfortunately, it was not enough. We were in such a deep economic hemorrhaging. We stopped that. But to do more we have to be even bolder in our actions. We’re going to push the White House to come forth with bold steps. It’s not too late now. But it will be in two years. So we’re hoping that he recognizes that.

EOH: White House advisor David Axelrod was quoted to the effect that Obama would compromise on the “big issues.” Did that set off alarm bells with you and the Caucus members?

LW: I and Caucus co-chair Raul M. Grijalva sent the President a letter Friday, Nov. 12, that we totally support rolling back the Bush tax breaks for the wealthy. And no cuts in other programs such as food stamps that benefit the poor and needy.

EOH: White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs blasted liberals and progressives as the “professional Left” for continuing to criticize the president despite what he’s tried to accomplish.

LW: I totally disagreed with him. I’ve won office with 70 percent of the vote, and there is a large base of voters that are progressive. This is America, and they do have the right to express themselves. And criticism or not of us, we’re not going to stop our criticism on policy issues we disagree with. In fact, in line with the Congressional Black Caucus, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and the House Pacific Asian Caucus, we will represent a good majority of the Democrats who remain in the House.

EOH: So no compromise on the core issues?

LW: Any idea that we’re going to reach across the aisle and surrender our Democratic ideals on jobs, health care, education, and fighting for working people and not the wealthy is not going to happen. We’re not going to compromise our votes to support programs just to appear that we’re compromising. We’re not going to start from the right of center and go further to the right. That’s not what the nation needs.

EOH: There were reports that during the health care debate the White House shunned the Progressive Caucus. How accurate is that?

LW: No we were not shunned. I still hear the president saying, “Lynn what’s our agenda on health care and what’s to be done to secure passage.” We took groups of representatives to the White House more than once for meetings. We always had an open-door relationship to work with the president and the House leadership. We intend to continue to work with the president. He will have a hard time getting anything done if he doesn’t have us with him. And he knows that.

But we’re not going to compromise with the right on some lukewarm programs that should have been much bolder. The public option in the health care fight was a good example of that. We still feel it was given away before the health care debate really began. So we’re not going to roll over. Most of our members won reelection, and in some ways we’ll have an even bigger voice in the next Congress.

EOH: Nancy Pelosi wants to stay in the House Leadership. Do you support her?

LW: I’m 100 percent behind her. None of the accomplishments in this past Congress would have happened without her leadership. They label her as some wild-eyed liberal, but that’s just name calling. She’s an effective leader. And the administration knows that. I’m confident that she will be our Minority House leader.

————————————

Rep Woolsey has helpfully laid out the Progressive/Obama agenda for the next two years. Watch out for a massive public jobs bill, moves to wind down the war in Afghanistan (sold as a way to increase domestic public spending), “media reform” (fairness doctrine, attacks on Fox News, conservative talkback, internet regulation etc), higher taxes and public spending and more of Nancy Pelosi.

President Obama and the Congressional Progressive Caucus have common origins, allies and agendas. While the President may make some conciliatory remarks to appease the Republicans and put the public at ease, his true agenda will be even more extreme.

President Obama and the Progressive Caucus are going to go for broke.

Communists Worked in Patty Murray’s Campaign

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

The Communist Party USA now barely tries to hide the fact that it has heavily infiltrated the Democratic Party.

One communist who is shameless in his support for the Democrats is Tim Wheeler, former editor of the People’s World.

While mainly resident in Baltimore, Tim Wheeler grew up on a dairy farm near Sequim, Washington State, the son of lifelong Party member and one time O.S.S. officer and Soviet spy Donald Niven Wheeler.

Tim Wheeler, with his wife and comrade Joyce Wheeler, was back in his home town recently campaigning for leftist Democratic Party Senator Patty Murray.

Tim Wheeler, third from left

Tim Wheeler writes in the Peoples World,

The highest profile election victory here Nov. 2 was the reelection of Sen. Patty Murray. She defeated Republican Dino Rossi by more than 100,000 votes.

I was asked to coordinate street-corner “waves” for Murray here in my hometown. We could tell Murray was doing well by the number of motorists, especially women, who honked and gave us the thumbs-up salute, far outnumbering the Republicans who gave us a sour look and the thumbs-down.

My wife Joyce and I spent one afternoon canvassing for Murray up on Bell Hill, where my family once owned a dairy farm. It is now crowded with luxury homes with panoramic views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Mount Baker.

One wealthy resident told me she had already mailed in her ballot, marked for Patty Murray, and was “praying for our country,” that voters reject the lies of the rightwing demagogues. I told her that in my youth, I herded cows on what is now her front lawn…

Washington State voters helped put up a firewall against the ultra-right in reelecting Murray, blocking a GOP majority takeover of the Senate. Victory was won when the coalition of unions and other progressive organizations succeeded in getting out the vote.

In early 2008 Tim Wheeler, his wife Joyce and another Communist Party USA couple Jim Baldridge and Margaret Baldridge were all active members of Party “friend” Barack Obama’s Baltimore operation – organizing canvassing, phone banking and general campaign work.

Tim Wheeler and his friend Rev. Pierre L. Williams of Baltimore also canvassed for Obama in South Carolina in January 2008

It is chilly and threatening rain but the media is predicting a record voter turnout of people fired up by Obama’s message of hope. I rode down from Baltimore on a bus with 40 other volunteers. It was chartered by three members of the Maryland General Assembly who have kept us working diligently since we arrived. Nights we sleep on the gymnasium floor of the Y, strewn with mostly youthful volunteers from as far away as California…

I have been canvassing with a friend, Rev. Pierre Williams, a United Methodist minister in Baltimore. We got a vivid feel for just how deeply Obama’s message is resonating here going door-to-door in a working class neighborhood yesterday.”

Tim Wheeler doesn’t say it, but Rev. Williams is a member of the Communist Party’s Religious Commission.

So dedicated to his Christian mission was Pierre Williams that he was convicted in 1999 of defrauding the United States Department of Education by using false social security numbers in order to secure $29,500 in guaranteed student loans. Specifically, Williams pled guilty to one count of Student Assistance Fraud before the Honorable Thomas F. Hogan of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

The student loan was to fund Williams’ master’s degree in Divinity at the Wesley Theological Seminary.

Yep, sons of spies, communists and “Christian” fraudsters – the backbone of today’s Democratic Party.

Mark Ritchie File 2 Minnesota S.O.S. Helped Found Socialist Party With Ties to President Obama

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

Cross-posted from the New Zeal blog

Controversial Minnesota Democratic – Farmer – Labor Party Secretary of State Mark Ritchie was formerly a key member of radical socialist “alternative” political party – a party that helped launch the political career of Barack Obama.

In the early 1990s, the now defunct New Party was founded as a left wing adjunct to and eventual replacement for the Democratic Party.

While New Party leaders always touted their party as non socialist and analysis of its leadership gives lie to that claim.

New Party News Fall 1994 listed over 100 activists -”some of the community leaders, organizers, retirees,, scholars, artists, parents, students, doctors, writers and other activists who are building the NP

Close up

Of the hundred or so activists listed many were affiliated to ACORN, Democratic Socialists of America, the Communist Party USA offshoot Committees of Correspondence, or the far left Institute for Policy Studies – once described by analyst Brian Crozier as the “perfect intellectual front for Soviet activities which would be resisted if they were to originate openly from the KGB.”

Mark Ritchie’s New Party comrades included;

Barack Obama joined the Chicago New Party’s sister organization Progressive Chicago as early as 1993. By 1995 he had joined the New Party during his successful run for the Illinois State Senate.

From New Party News Spring 1996 page 1;

Mark Ritchie, as Minnesota Secretary of state has the responsibility of overseeing electoral recounts. This resulted in considerable controversy in 2009 when Ritchie handed a U.S Senate seat to leftist former comedian Al Franken, though his Republican opponent was ahead on election night.

Now Mark Ritchie is set to oversee another recount that could put leftist Democrat and long time Ritchie associate Mark Dayton in the Minnesota Governor’s mansion.

Interestingly Ritchie serves on Advisory committee of Wellstone Action with Franken, Dayton and Democratic Socialists of America member, New Party founder and Progressives for Obama endorser Frances Fox Piven.

The fact that Mark Ritchie once helped lead a covertly socialist political party with close ties to President Barack Obama must cast doubt on his impartiality and suitability for the position.
